Talk Description

‘’Google knows more about me than my mom does. Apps installed on my smartphone don’t
work unless I enter my personal information. Theft of data can lead to severe losses and also cost penalties. So, whenever one wants to develop a healthcare app, the first thing that
must be considered is HIPAA compliance.

It’s an open secret that data is far from standardized in healthcare, which makes data interoperability a challenging problem to solve. With the introduction of GraphQL in HL7 FHIR R4, the issues I’ve mentioned above can be addressed by directly leveraging the GraphQl API. Start with GraphQL in baby steps for Android. Pros and cons of Apollo Kotlin and why REST is old news!’’
