Code of Conduct

CODEstantine is committed to providing a welcoming, harassment-free conference for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, race, ethnicity, and religious beliefs.
By participating in CODEstantine Conference, all attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, and volunteers must abide by the following Code of Conduct.

This Code of Conduct applies to all Conference sessions, workshops social events, and online activity.

Be nice.

Generosity is one of our core values, and we expect all delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners to conduct themselves in a kind and respectful manner.

Jokes or insults that are discriminatory in any way — racist, sexist, homophobic — will not be tolerated, nor will any language that is overly violent or profane.

Be social but responsible.

Start conversations, build connections, and make an effort to be as inclusive as possible with your fellow attendees.

Unwelcome advances — either in-person or online — towards any fellow attendee, volunteer or organizer are strictly prohibited, as is making any inappropriate/suggestive comments towards others.

Watch out for others.

If you witness this Code of Conduct being violated in any way or come across a situation that is in any way dangerous, make sure to inform a CODEstantine Conference organizer as soon as possible

Any attendee, organizer, volunteer, speaker, sponsor, or partner who does not abide by this Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the conference at the discretion of the event organizers. In the case that an attendee is expelled, refunds will not be granted.

Report a violation.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, you should contact one of the organizing staff or a member of the conference committee.
