We are DEVersity – software development company from Belgrade. Our carefully selected crew is providing services that cover the complete lifecycle of software development – Team as a Service. We are working for clients from abroad, as well as domestic ones. We take pride in our work and love what we do and from there comes the trust that our clients have in us. The team we are expanding is working on big data analytics platform for a USA client. The platform that we are architecting and developing extensively utilizes cloud services in order to enable distributed, autoscalable processing of big data. Daily challanges include:
Working in RubyOnRails and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Architecting and coding of components for automating data analysis
Integrations with third party systems
Extensive use of various databases (OLTP and OLAP)
Transforming data to better suit the further processing and visualisation requirements
Visualisation of resluts of analysis through the frontend of the platform
Maintenance and improvements of cloud infrastructure (devops)
Given the above, these are the requirements that we're expecting candidates to have:
- Minimum 2 years of previous software development experience
- College degree (or close to having a degree) from ETF, MATF, FON, FTN or RAF
- Compulsory previous experience in Java, JavaScript or Ruby
- Compulsory knowledge of SQL databases concepts
- Compulsory knowledge of distibuted computing concepts
- Working level of English communication
We consider it to be an advantage if you also have:
- Previous experience with NoSQL databases
- Previous experience with AWS
- Previous experience with Python
- Knowledge or experience in HTML and CSS
- Know ReactJS or VueJS frontend frameworks
