Medior Infra/DevOps Engineer Developer

Description

We are looking for an Infra/DevOps engineer with a focus on AWS Badin SC support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting resources in Badin Service Center production environment (AWS cloud-based)
  • Installation and maintenance of dev/test environments on-premise and cloud-based
  • Maintenance and improvement of local CI/CD ecosystem
  • Develop Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines
  • Work closely with development teams to provide infrastructure and automation for ongoing and future projects

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud environment and its core services (VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3…)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux server system administration (Debian/RedHat/CentOS)
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP stack and network services and protocols (DNS, DHCP, IP routing, SMTP, SSH, TLS, HTTPS…)
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies – IPSec, SSL VPN (OpenVPN)
  • Familiarity with load balancing and high-availability (HA) concepts
  • Experience with some of the configuration automation tools (Ansible)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concept and tools (Terraform)
  • Real-world experience with Java applications troubleshooting (exceptions etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of practical experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
  • Active use of Git tools
  • Knowledge of CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Sonarqube, Nexus…)
  • Experience with monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana) and logging (ELK, Syslog) tools 

Nice to Have

  • DBA experience (clustering, replication, backup…)
  • experience with Elasticsearch maintenance and administration
  • experience with configuring network hardware (switches, routers, APs….)
  • familiar with VMware vSphere virtualization environment
  • familiar with Windows Server administration and IIS web services
